Fields of activity
When it comes to dividing the law into areas of activity or branches, most people are aware of the existence of criminal and civil law. A further division of law into two categories can be made into public law and private law. In order not to go into too much detail about the general theory of law, I have tried to present the areas in which I work briefly and as clearly as possible.

Family law
Includes all legal issues concerning the relationships between members of a family, whether they arise from parentage (recognition of a child, disputing parentage, adoption, etc.) or from marriage (divorce, marriage contracts, etc.).

Inheritance law
This includes all legal issues arising from legal or testamentary succession. Questions relatind to the friendly division of an inheritance are settled by notaries, but in the event of misunderstandings, the matter will often be taken to court (usually in the event of misunderstandings about the division of assets).

Real estate
Includes all problems that may arise in connection with the ownership of land. Such problems can start at ANCPI offices in the country and be afterwards taken to court. In this area, the regulations on real estate advertising (land registry) are also relevant.

Contracts
This area of activity is I think is inherent to the activity of a lawyer and it consists of drafting or reviewing different types of contracts (rent, sale, etc.). In the case of real estate, however, these are usually concluded in the presence of a notary.

Company law
This includes all issues related to the establishment, operation and dissolution of a company. The following activities can be mentioned by way of example: amendment/drawing up of articles of association, registration/cancellation of companies with the ONRC.

Labor law
This deals with all legal issues that may arise between employers and employees. Some key words in this area are: individual employment contract, unlawful dismissal, collective employment contract, etc.
